The Garmin Aera 500 microlight GPS system from Garmin is leading the next generation of aviation portable GPS. The aera series touch-screen portables all offer easy transition from flying to driving with an intuitive, icon-driven user interface.
The Garmin aera 500 models feature crisp 4.3” QVGA widescreens, plus the simplicity of a single cable solution for power. For aviation use, aera combines colourfully detailed topography with built-in terrain/obstacles alerting, high-resolution terrain, and airways are also available with selected models.
In the car the garmin aera 500 gps has dual-boot, the aera 500 series offers the ease and simplicity of Garmin’s industry leading nüvi automotive sat navs. All of the aera series products feature City Navigator NT mapping, with audio callout of street names simplifying navigation.
